Lincoln @ 4 Months

Here is my big boy at 4 months old:

My BIG boy is: 15 lbs. 9 oz. (75th %ile; Riley was 15 lbs. 14 oz. at 1 year!!!) and 25.75 inches (80th %ile) long!! His Dr. apt went really well, 4 shots and 1 oral vaccine this time..boo. Thanks to Kelli for a great book about infant/child vaccines I have learned a lot about them and which are necessary and which are maybe not necessary (I'm just not brave enough not to get my little ones vaccinated...a very informative book though)! He has great head control and can almost sit with pillows around him!! WHOOOHOOO!

I also haven't quite figured out why it is that we stress the whole pregnancy on picking out the cutest and most meaningful name before the baby is born and then when they are born, at least in our case, we rarely call them the cute, adorable name we gave them?!! We have so many nicknames for Lincoln, we usually call him one of the following: My little man (especially when he wears a polo shirt), booter, tooter-booter, Stinky Linky, (when he passes gas), angel face, squinty (because when he smiles, his eyes disappear) Bo-Bo, Thunder thighs, Chubby Wubby, Munchkin, Peanut, Peanut Butter, and of course, Ty's favorite: Sausage Link (because he's so chubby). Also, when he's fussy we usually call him one of the following: Fussball, Mr. McFussy or Tiny Whiny. Rarely do I call him Lincoln. :)

Milestones: Eating cereal and he's great at it. He really shovels it in, rarely spitting it out and making a mess. He LOVES his food. He also found his toes a while back and loves to hang onto them. His first experience with the exersaucer was fun and his feet almost touched :).

ALSO, he rolled over for the first time this afternoon (Sept. 8) from his belly to his back! WHOOOHOOO!! Such a big little guy, he was so proud of himself, he just kept doing it over and over again! Such fun...(I'll post a video when I have time)

Lincoln is so cute! You're doing a great job. I love the monthly pictures!!!

Jonathan is already 13 lbs 6 ounces and he is only 3 months 1 week old. Plus he started out just under 6, but close enough to call it 6 at 5 lbs 15.8 ounces. I can't believe it.

Joey's 27 lbs and they call that small for a boy at 2 years old.

Wow! What a big boy! :) I have some more clothes for him...nothing big. Or should I say, is it big enough? Just some hand-me-downs from Rob's sister. I hope you don't mind garage sale stuff :) I should be able to mail it out in the next couple days. There are some shirts in there for Ri too.
P.S. Just remember you can bank on an NFL career early :) If he's rolling, Ty can practice tackling with him...you know...show him how to fall properly. :) Love you, girl :)

awww! I love it when babies do things like roll over for the first time! they are just so fun to watch grow and learn :)
and I think your right about never calling them by name, except when they get into something they aren't supposed to. hmm, seems like I've been calling Hunter by his first name a lot lately.... lol.
